@ImPunken @seenfootage I wanna ask, I’ve been to some drag events in Sydney only over the past couple years and have seen junior drag racing, they only do 1/4 mile and the cars only have small engines I’d imagine probably from a scooter or at most a low cc dirt bike. What’s actually changed since then?

@SportsDudeBS_ @seenfootage Yeah but that's usually starting them off kart racing is it not?.. I mean I could be wrong I've never done much digging on it. But DRAG racing at 8?.. I've seen grown adults that cant keep the wheel steady when the front rises and drops on a hard launch..

@felidqe @TheChocoboRacer @seenfootage The concrete walls on a drag strip are to stop the driver from flying off into a bunch of spectators and killing them all, also just to remind you that Anita's father Ian Board described the incident as a one-in-a-million event and said he wanted junior drag racing to continue

To become an F1 driver you start off in go karts capable of 80 kmph and that’s in the age range of 3-8 which only goes up from there, id say it’s much more dangerous to be driving on an open track than it is on a drag strip

@ImPunken @17straight_17 @seenfootage So we have an 8 year old having mechanical issues with their dragster but still being allowed to make a second pass and a strip layout that is inherently unsafe because who is going to want to slow down right BEFORE the finish line?.. Tragic.. but also seems it was avoidable..

This man was at an indoor car show. Lots of expensive custom cars on display from Lamborghini’s to Ferrari’s and other painstakingly one of a kind builds. A man decides to film him self speeding around and drifting next to these cars on a drift go kart. He claims to be a professional go kart drifter and has never hit a car before. While drifting close to a Ferrari that was almost a million dollars, the owner came out and told him that if he hit his car then there would be an issue. The drifter feels the man was bring a Karen, would you be this calm if someone was doing this by your expensive car?

@felidqe @seenfootage The drag cars only went up to 100 kmph (60 mph) which is pretty slow compared to what regular drag cars would do
