The founding fathers themselves mentioned their support for militias over standing armies run by the state in letters, indeed, in drafting the 2nd amendment there was debate on whether joining a militia be MANDATORY for the populace.

For all it's talk about trying to follow the intent of the founding fathers, the fact is the Supreme Court does make rulings in line with modern understandings, rather than historical ones. @ItsLulu_7 Education is primary run by *drum roll* the government and yet you’re claiming private business owners are why teachers are broke? A lot of this goes back to government taxes and regulations via the USDA, FDA, various environmental laws, Health Code. More gov’t is not the answer
