The AI App Layer is a valuation trap, and most AI apps will go to zero. Billionaire investor @GrahamCWeaver breaks down the four AI zones. Pick wrong and you’re cooked: 1. Infrastructure Layer (SAFE): Chips, data centers, energy - print money as long as the lights stay on. 2. Model Layer (RED): OpenAI, Google, Anthropic - you need billions and success is already priced in. 3. App Layer (DANGER ZONE): High churn, constant attack from LLM updates and customers building it themselves. 4. Use-Case Layer (GOLD): Buy boring operating businesses and use AI to crush the overhead. This has real cash flow + automation. Stop trying to out-code the giants in the cloud. Go where the algorithm can’t follow: proprietary data, deep customer relationships, and real-world results. The ultimate moat isn’t a better prompt; it’s owning the actual customer in the physical world. @thesamparr @ShaanVP

🚨RESEARCHERS JUST MATHEMATICALLY PROVED THAT AI LAYOFFS WILL DESTROY THE ECONOMY.. AND EVERY CEO ALREADY KNOWS IT.. BUT NONE OF THEM CAN STOP.. Two researchers from UPenn and Boston University just published a paper called "The AI Layoff Trap".. They proved something terrifying.. Every company replacing workers with AI is also firing its own customers.. Every laid-off employee is someone who used to spend money.. When enough people lose their jobs.. Nobody can afford to buy anything.. And the companies that fired everyone go bankrupt selling products to an economy with no purchasing power.. Every CEO can see this coming.. The math is obvious.. Fire workers.. Lose customers.. Lose revenue.. Collapse.. But here's the trap.. No company can afford to stop.. If you don't automate.. Your competitor will.. They cut costs.. Undercut your prices.. Steal your market share.. And you die anyway.. So every company automates.. Knowing it's collectively suicidal.. Because the alternative is dying alone while everyone else survives.. It's a Prisoner's Dilemma.. And the researchers proved it mathematically.. The numbers are already stacking up.. Block cut nearly half its 10,000 employees this year.. CEO Jack Dorsey said AI made those roles unnecessary and that "within the next year, the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion".. Salesforce replaced 4,000 customer support agents with AI.. Goldman Sachs deployed an AI coder that lets one senior engineer do the work of a five-person team.. Over 100,000 tech workers were laid off in 2025 alone.. AI was cited as the primary driver in more than half the cases.. 80% of US workers hold jobs with tasks susceptible to AI automation.. And here's what should scare policymakers.. The researchers tested every proposed solution.. Universal Basic Income.. Doesn't fix it.. It raises living standards but doesn't change a single company's incentive to automate.. Capital income taxes.. Don't fix it.. They change profit levels but not the per-task decision to replace a human.. Worker equity and profit sharing.. Narrows the gap but can't close it.. Collective bargaining.. Can't fix it.. Because automating is a dominant strategy.. No voluntary agreement between companies is self-enforcing.. Only one thing works.. A Pigouvian automation tax.. A per-task charge that forces every company to pay for the demand it destroys when it fires a worker.. The researchers call it a "Red Queen effect".. Better AI doesn't solve the problem.. It makes it worse.. Because every company sees a bigger market share gain from automating faster than rivals.. But at the end.. Everyone automates equally.. The gains cancel out.. And the only thing left is more destroyed demand.. The paper's conclusion is devastating.. This isn't a transfer from workers to company owners.. Both sides lose.. Workers lose their income.. Companies lose their customers.. It's a deadweight loss that harms everyone.. And no market force can break the cycle.. The AI layoff trap isn't a prediction.. It's already happening.. And the math says it won't stop on its own.

After reading this piece on Sam Altman, one can reasonably conclude he’s put profit over loyalty, principles, and company governance. There’s business savvy and ruthlessness, and there’s Sam, who at multiple points in his career has been the subject of investigations and forced departures from companies he’s founded. When those closest to him raise alarms, they should be heeded by those whom he tries to con into business dealings. While Dario is also insufferable, it should be obvious to all why both him and Elon, who worked closest with Sam, find him to be a dishonest swindler. The last takeaway I have — this article is written by a gay Democrat, one of Sam’s own people, and even he is quite unconvinced that Sam is a good person. OpenAI was clearly changed from a non-profit to for-profit to benefit Sam. It’s clear he lied to Elon and his co-founders. “I think there’s a small but real chance he’s eventually remembered as a Bernie Madoff- or Sam Bankman-Fried-level scammer.” This is the truth and the world sees it.

🚨 BREAKING: Scientists reversed the age of human cells by 30 years. 53-year-old cells… turned into 23-year-old ones. That shouldn’t be possible. Unless aging isn’t time passing… but systems drifting out of balance. And now we’ve figured out how to push it back. If time isn’t what we think… what else are we getting wrong? Follow this gets deeper.

Anthropic just shipped native computer use Every “computer use agent” startup is having a real bad morning right now. This is the cycle. And it never stops. You build a wrapper. You raise money. You get some traction. Then the model provider ships your entire product as a feature update on a random Tuesday. OpenAI did it with code interpreter. Google did it with grounding. Now Anthropic is doing it with computer use. The playbook is always the same. Find a gap in the base model. Build a tool around it. Pray they don’t close the gap. The only AI companies that survive are the ones building something the model literally cannot do on its own. Vertical workflows. Proprietary data loops. Deep integrations that take 6 months to rip out. Everything else gets eaten.

Today, we’re releasing a feature that allows Claude to control your computer: Mouse, keyboard, and screen, giving it the ability to use any app. I believe this is especially useful if used with Dispatch, which allows you to remotely control Claude on your computer while you’re away.

🚨BREAKING: ALL major artificial intelligence systems — SuperGrok, ChatGPT-5, and Google Gemini — independently concluded that VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM after analyzing our landmark 82-page study. The 30-year lie that “vaccines don’t cause autism” has officially been TERMINATED.
The Vigilant Fox 🦊@VigilantFox

The McCullough Foundation reviewed 300 studies, and they found the #1 risk factor for autism to be “combination vaccines.” “There are more children in the United States today with profound autism — completely disabled — than there ever were with polio,” he lamented. “We’ve, in a sense, caused a major public health crisis through this vaccine ideology.” But it’s not just the profound autism that’s showing up. In a survey of approximately 13,000 people, one result about gender identity stood out immediately. “It doesn’t prove causation. But it is a signal that large is difficult to ignore.” 🧵

🚨 Do you understand what happened in the last 12 hours? > A CEO of a $200 billion company said on camera that 35% of new grads won't find jobs. He didn't even flinch saying it. > Meta made $165 billion last year and is still firing 15,000 people because apparently record profit isn't profitable enough. > Some random guy in Florida sold his entire house in 5 days using ChatGPT. No real estate agent, no commission, no experience. Just vibes and a $20 subscription. > A man in Australia cured his dying dog's cancer with AI after every single vet told him there was nothing left to do. Built a custom vaccine from his couch. > The guy who created Uber and left 300,000 taxi drivers broke is back. Building robots now because apparently ruining one industry wasn't enough. > Tinder wants access to your camera roll. Your drunk photos, your 3am notes app meltdowns, your deleted selfies. They're calling it a "vibe check." > Naval, the man who made hundreds of millions investing in software, just said software is dead. Four words and the entire industry felt it. > And Anthropic removed the limit on how long their AI can think and then doubled everyone's usage for free. Because when the product is addictive enough you give the first taste away. All of that happened today. Not this week, not this quarter. Today. A random Saturday in March. This is worse than you being on meth.

Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas just shattered the greatest illusion of the AI arms race. The entire market is waiting for a single, god-like superintelligence to win the entire board. The physics of compute are forcing the exact opposite outcome. Models are not converging into a single monopoly. They’re violently fracturing into hyper-specialized execution nodes. Srinivas: “Towards the end of 2025, what happened was models started specializing. Even within coding, which you think might be a specialization, OpenAI’s Codex models and Anthropic’s Claude models are very different in terms of what they’re good at.” Bet your entire enterprise architecture on a single AI provider? You’re hardcoding your own ceiling. You don’t want a generalized model that’s “okay” at everything. You want a swarm of apex specialists. One ruthlessly optimized for syntax. One for visual synthesis. One for predictive reasoning. The future is not one AI. It’s the instantaneous orchestration of the absolute best compute for the exact task at hand. Platform lock-in is suicide. Srinivas: “Enterprise users are always selecting multiple different models all the time. That’s actually one of the value propositions of the Perplexity product. You don’t have to feel locked into one model provider, you don’t have to have one horse in the race.” Traditional tech giants are desperately trying to trap users inside their specific algorithmic ecosystem. Winning operators completely bypass the vendor war by becoming model-agnostic. When the foundational intelligence of the world is leapfrogging itself every three months, brand loyalty is a massive liability. The operators winning the next decade won’t care whether OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google trained the model. They’ll plug into an agnostic orchestration layer that autonomously routes to whichever specialized network currently dominates that exact sector of the board. The highest-leverage position is no longer building the intelligence. It’s directing the orchestra. Srinivas: “This is one particular skill, writing is another skill, being good at images and videos is another skill. You can hope that Perplexity figures out which model is best for what purpose, and you just have to come to the product and use it.” Multi-trillion-dollar hyperscalers burning billions fighting the model wars. Sovereign orchestrator bypasses the entire war. Harvests the output of all of them. You don’t need to be an expert in the underlying architecture of a dozen different foundation models. You just need to command the routing engine. When AI transitions from a monolithic product into a fractured grid of specialized utility nodes, the ultimate monopoly belongs to the orchestrator that abstracts the complexity. Foundation model builders became interchangeable plumbing.
