Every foul was analyzed frame by frame. Every referee decision became a conspiracy. Every victory had to come with an excuse. I’ve never seen another team get microanalyzed like this just because they kept winning. A lot of this comes down to one thing: Lionel Messi, who is far better player than their favorite player, far better, far talented and achieved far more in the sport so as they see that Messi is better than their favorite player, instead of accepting it they looked for ways to discredit him and the team around him.
