🚨 MAN WATCHES A 1965 FRIDGE COMMERCIAL - AND REALIZES WE’VE BEEN SCAMMED BY “SMART” TECH
He breaks down a 1965 refrigerator that somehow had more innovation than anything built today. Pull-out shelves that roll to you, a “picture-window hydrator” that tilts out for veggies, and self-ejecting ice trays that drop “a shower of frosty, dry cubes ready to use.”
No screens. No Wi-Fi. Just pure mechanical genius that actually made life easier.
How did a fridge from 60 years ago do more than the $3,000 “smart” ones we buy now?

@rookisaacman @nikitabier The entire Apollo program spanning 12 years cost the equivalent of what we spend every TWO WEEKS now 😮
Apple Lamps@lamps_apple
The Apollo program, running from 1960 to 1972, was a monumental achievement, costing $25.4 billion at the time—equivalent to $250-$300 billion today. This is the same amount the U.S. government now spends in just TWO WEEKS. Yet, despite this incredible investment and the 12 astronauts who walked on the moon, in 2024, only one company remains capable of sending astronauts to low earth orbit. It's a stark reminder of the shameful direction our space program has taken since those historic Apollo missions.
