@pimpmuffin07 Absolutely true. And Colorado has more talent. But they also have upset red flags and anyone that’s watched a lot knows Vegas frequently finds a way to win. It’s a good upset pick.

@ImberVoice The big thing IMO was that Vegas was significantly untested vs Utah and Anaheim, compared to Colorado. Even LA was a tight series despite the sweep, and then Minnesota was a COMPLETE style shift and they dispatched a Cup Contending Wild team in 5.

I’ve watched these cores enough the last while that I was surprised by the overwhelming thought that Colorado would roll through. This series should be close, and Vegas could easily win in six.

@ImberVoice The draft is the draft. The NFL is the 800 pound gorilla of sports now. Every month now has some event. Draft, schedule release, free agency, off season workouts then training camp.

Why are there only three NHL playoff games on a Saturday? What’s with all these multi-day breaks without travel?

@Metalpanthers Felt like a tough series to call. Neither team feels like a playoff team. I took Pittsburgh because of the veteran crew. Wouldn’t surprise me if this one rebounds back, but Philly has been impressive.

Vladar has been low key one of the best goalies in the league this season. A great goalie can carry you pretty far in the playoffs, and that’s why I picked Philly in my bracket Series isn’t over, but I was always surprised by how many people took Pittsburgh

@rightgeorge99 Amazing atmosphere. I remember being at the game in 2012 after the long drought. Just a pressure cooker waiting for that first big home goal.

The NHL playoffs are the best thing in the world. But, I’m struggling to get into it this year. After three years of being in every single round, experiencing the insane crowds and awaiting every round schedule drop, it’s so hard to watch from a distance. Just fast forward it.

Should be an interesting first round this year. Lots of new teams that may feel the pressure of the dance. I’m choosing COL, DAL, VGK, EDM, BOS, TB, OTT, and PIT. Toughest to call are CAR/OTT and DAL/MIN. Even with the tough first two rounds, really think DAL can win it all.
