Devil fruit, as they are supposed to be rare, but I don’t think it has ever been elaborated on. I can only really count on two hands the amount of times we’ve seen the rough time a devil fruit is eaten, and a lot less for seeing one get eaten on screen.

@gvs_5tudio Interesting, do you use link workflow when animating or do you just localize everything? Because you cant really make shapekeys on the spot for linked meshes.

@N0me__ @Yassonim The key difference is in OPLA he was directly working on the docks with the ship before meeting Luffy, so he has more personal attachment. In the manga he fixes the ship on the seas for lack of a better person but the only previous attachment is because it was a gift from Kaya.
