No disrespect to Ruturaj Gaikwad, but everyone knows that Sanju Samson is a better player and captain. Still, we Sanju fans don’t hate Ruturaj or ask for him to be removed from captaincy, because Sanju himself has said, “I didn’t come to CSK for captaincy, I came here just to help the team win.” However, some Ruturaj fans are crossing the line by trolling not only Sanju but even MS Dhoni. From now on, if I see anyone trolling Sanju, they will be responsible for whatever reaction follows. Please don’t spread hate. It’s not Sanju vs Ruturaj — it’s Sanju and Ruturaj.

#Rutu is the most deserving player to hold the Captaincy role . He is the product of #CSK scoring runs consistently for the franchise with an Orange Cap already . We back Thala’s decision no matter what it is. We want Rutu to do it for CSK this time. Sanju is a superstar for CSK already and we want him to express himself without worrying about the role he has to perform. Let him deliver(Which he will) for the franchise with No pressure.

One interesting this from the Rutu podcast is that he spoke to Sanju about 2/3 years ago about Sanju being from south, and that he should come to CSK. So all those trade rumours since last few years were indeed true. There is no smoke without fire.
