Advent Day 19: Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare your praise.

Advent Day 18: I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints-- but let them not return to folly.

Advent Day 17: "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.” Luke 2:14

Advent day 16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Advent Day15: A gift is not truly given until it has been accepted. Hence let us wholly accept Christ into our lives this season.

Advent Day 14: Father Your wisdom is far above our understanding. We thank You that we can rely on You to carry out Your good plans for us.

Advent day 13: O Lord, thank you for bringing us through this second week of Advent, halfway to celebrating the joy of Christmas.

Advent day 12: The afflicted and the needy seek water in vain. The Lord is gracious and merciful; slow to anger, and of great kindness.

Advent Day 11: 'He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David...salvation from our enemies' Luke 1: 69,71

Advent day 10: O Lord, give us a spirit of gratitude that we may be truly content with all you have given us. Amen

Advent Day 9: Dear Lord, give us the grace of success in all we do today and may we reflect Your love to everyone we meet. Amen

Advent Day 8: Lord stir up our hearts that we may prepare for Thy only begotten Son & through His coming we may be made worthy to serve Thee

Advent day 7: The Messiah will bring justice and peace to the nations. Let us wait with anticipation.

Advent day 6: Lift me from my lowly sins&give me the promise of salvation with no more shame, only the light & saving grace of Your love.

Advent Day 5: A nation of firm purpose You keep in peace; in peace for its trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever!

Advent Day 4. 2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline

Advent Day 3: O God, fortify me with the grace of Your Spirit&give Your peace to my soul to free me from needless anxiety, solicitude& worry

Advent Day 2: Dear Lord, give us the grace to guard our tongues today that we may utter words that are pleasing to You a comfort to others.

Advent Day 1. Mark 1: 3. Prepare for His coming: confess your sins; make peace with your neighbour and give generously.
