Porosity is a common issue in cast metal parts and it’s not always visible on the surface. Even with modern casting methods, small voids from shrinkage or trapped gas can lead to leaks once parts are machined or put under pressure.

Our Dot Peen marking service provides fast, reliable and permanent identification for your parts. Using a tungsten carbide stylus, a series of precise dots are driven into the surface to create clear, durable markings that won’t fade or wear away.
