INEC Begins Nationwide Voter Revalidation Training Ahead of 2027 Elections
INEC has commenced training of trainers ahead of the nationwide voter revalidation exercise starting April 13, 2026.
The exercise is a key step toward preparing for the 2027 general elections, with officials being trained to manage voter registration across all LGAs, registration areas, and polling units nationwide.
INEC says the focus is on ICT systems, standard procedures, and data integrity to ensure a credible voter register.
The trained officials will in turn prepare thousands of registration officers for full nationwide rollout.
