Pretty sure every female footballer over the age of about 20 has a story about not being allowed to play/not being made welcome/not having the same opportunity as boys.

I was 7 when I wasnt allowed to play with the boys
I was 9 when I could join a girls team
I am so proud of how far women's football has come and that no girl should ever be told they can't play this beautiful game
Amazing to see so many young girls be so inspired by this team
