When your favorite indie author decides to use AI imagery in their newest newsletter and you realize you’ll have to stop supporting them because how can a writer actively use and support something that hurts the artist community. Book spaces were so much better before AI.

It sucks that you guys only work with people who have a minimum of 1000 followers. Maybe one day I’ll be able to work with you guys. Some of these from their titles alone sound pretty intriguing.

@boekelley For the Bujold book I would recommend at least reading the first one Penric’s Demon to understand Penric’s character and how he and Desdemona came to be. Penric and the Bandit is book 13 in the series. I love the series it’s so much fun, Penric is one of my favorite characters.

My weekend is already starting off on a high note as once again I got some book mail from the one and only @SubPress🎉 Each of these covers grabs my attention for different reasons and I'm excited to get to try out the works of two different authors who I haven't read anything by yet. Does one or the other stand out more to you? If so let me know which you are drawn too.

@Asher_Author I love Dai Dark! Q Hayashida is a fantastic mangaka her art is so detailed and her stories are dark with a side of quirky that keep you entertained. If you haven’t read her Dorohedoro series you should also check that one out!
