I'm deeply disturbed by the fact 22 EU countries decided to support a call to take Spain out of Schengen. While Spain is under attack by "unknown" factors, forcing thousands of people to invade its border, the EU doesn't vote to help, no, they vote to kick out Spain from the joint EU visa-free space. While, by the way, Spain is ravaged by wildfires. Solidarity in Europe? No way. Should I remind you about the millions of Ukrainian refugees everywhere in Europe? Or about the thousands of immigrants who enter trough Greece and Italy (I don't know the number for Bulgaria). If you don't see a problem with that motion, with the meetings at the top of the EU against one country, well, I don't see what's the point of this Union. And mind you, Bulgaria also supported the letter, despite the fact millions of Bulgarians (me among them) have deep connection to Spain trough relatives, work, studies and friends. There's literally no empty plane for Spain. And the Bulgarian government turned their back to its own citizens and supported a motion against Spain. What the hell? I'd say I didn't vote for this, but in fact I didn't vote because I was in Spain for the elections. But I don't think anyone imagined that kind of politics of the party people handed the country to with a huge majority. What a shame! Both for the EU and for Bulgaria.

@dnevnik Не мога да разбера колко некадърни хора са на власт. Толкова зле май отдавна не е било. Как ще искаш да изключиш Испания от Шенген при положение, че толкова много българи ежедневно пътуват до там. Няма празен самолет за Испания. И повечето са редовни пътници, не туристи!

Not even Article 4, for a cruise missile landing on NATO territory? Such a non-reaction would have been unimaginable before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. There would have been strong measures immediately taken. But, over time, outrages have been normalised and even rationalised to the point where they are no longer considered outrageous. So I have to ask — what other aggressions would also be greeted with a shrug? Destroying critical infrastructure? Killing people? How many? The promise to defend every inch has now been broken, so how many more inches are we going to let go?

@ashpreetbedi It is universal because it was never the code that was the important one, it was the idea and in this I include the process from vague idea to finished product (I.e idea, design, implementation, testing, marketing). That's a focused process that requires making clever choices.

Everyone knows I'm super AI-pilled. But one trend I'm noticing as I talk to more and more companies: the personal productivity gains are not translating into organizational growth and efficiency as expected. It's an odd dichotomy. Individuals are more productive. Engineers are writing an insane amount of code. But the gains aren't showing up in the numbers yet. Not sure how universal this is.

Spain’s entire budget will be destroyed by illegal migrants. It’s basic math: if Spain offers free stuff to migrants that is above 90% of the living standard of Earth, they create a forcing function for 90% of Earth to move to Spain, which is around 7 billion people!
