I'm the type of Christian who chooses to LOVE others. The church I left taught judgment & hate toward anyone outside its theology/cover-ups. It took my pastor SA me to realize Christ wasn't in their midst at all. What I hate now is how long I hurt others in my ignorance.

What many churches fail to understand, when it comes to bringing people to Christ, is that love is much more effective than hate. I've never met someone–who loved well–and thought, "I don't want to be like them," but I have thought that about many "Christians" who hated well.

14 years ago, I was diagnosed with the first of 2 separate & independent invasive cancers. Things were bleak. I was terrified. Long journey of surgeries, treatments, rehabs & recoveries followed. Gob-smacked with #gratitude for the sheer joy of still being here. #cancerversary

We were brainwashed. I was brainwashed to always honor my parents. My mom said it over and over. I never told others about how I woke up with erection checks every morning as a kid. It was against God I was taught to speak of it. I’m 60 now. I’m always the first person up. I can never sleep in like normal people. I’m still trying to get out of bed before my Baptist mom comes in a grabs my dick. Maybe when I’m 70 in ten years I won’t have to be out of bed by 6:20.

Early Jan, Johnny Hunt's lawsuit, suing for $100m+, got pushed to June–ongoing since the Guidepost Rpt in 22. Meanwhile, his victims live w/him still in spotlight while they scrounge to pay for therapy for trauma he caused them. SBC will pay predators but not the wounded. #SBCtoo
