This man charges his 6 year old rent. He has a chore chart for her where if she does them all she earns a $5 allowance. The money she is charged for rent and utilities is taken from her allowance she earns, further motivating her to finish her chores and budget her money. He’s doing this to teach her responsibility and get her accustomed to budgeting her money. Others criticizing him because they feel she’s way too young to be paying rent or even worry about money. Do you feel she’s too young for this kind of life lesson?

Trump's FEMA resolved 80% of ALL open Hurricane Helene cases Biden left sitting 116 days... in 5 DAYS. Trump's DOT gave nearly $2 BILLION to fix roads and bridges in WNC, which is the largest Emergency Relief allocation in federal highway history. Trump's DOT reopened I-40 in 5 months. Everyone said it would take years. Trump's HUD approved $1.4 billion for Helene housing recovery so fast that even Democrat Governor Josh Stein publicly thanked him for it. Trump's USDA delivered $221 million directly to WNC farmers who lost everything. Trump gave NC 6 full months of 100% federal cost coverage — one of the longest in FEMA history. The same people driving on rebuilt roads, drinking clean water, living the comeback... are out here protesting the man who made most of it happen. JUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! It's not that hard. He knew you hated him before the storm. He knew that when he landed in Asheville. And guess what? HE SHOWED UP AND HELPED YOU ANYWAYS!!!!!! And today you grabbed your little sign and costumes, got in your little Subaru, you drove on those rebuilt roads, over those rebuilt bridges, passed rebuilt houses and rebuilt parks, to protest a man who helped your city. A group calling itself "The Free the 901 Campaign" is blackmailing local businesses - either renounce the Memphis Safe Task Force or face a boycott. And any business that serves someone in uniform will also face a boycott. Local businesses are being told they must "renounce your support" for the task force and also "commit to refuse service to uniformed agents." Earlier today they went into businesses on Beale Street and handed out flyers to employees telling them why they were boycotting their establishments. "We are not aware of any public retraction of your business's support for the task force," the flyer read. For this reason, our campaign is boycotting your business and others who have publicly supported the task force." This group is nothing more than an economic terrorist organization. Feel free to reach out directly to the "non-profits" that are waging this boycott: MICAH, Black Voters Matter, Memphis for All, Indivisible Memphis, The Equity Alliance, ACLU Tennessee, Decarcerate Memphis - among others.

There is a serious constitutional crisis when the legislative branch of the federal government is unable to legislate because of self-imposed ‘extra-constitutional’ rules and procedures. The Byrd Rule… named for a long-dead Democrat leader who appears to control the Senate from the grave. The filibuster rule that can’t work because of some long ago interpretation of the filibuster process. The question is whether the Senate leaders will continue to allow their foolish adherence to arcane rules and procedures to create this constitutional crisis. They say they won’t “nuke” the filibuster. But they also won’t overturn the long ago ruling by a parliamentarian who “interpreted” the 2-speech rule to mean the filibuster can never ever end. As we have had to learn more about the Senate rules, it is becoming increasingly clear that the Senate is refusing to protect the filibuster by overturning the interpretation that makes the filibuster impossible to end without a supermajority. That’s a constitutional crisis and rather than seriously address the issue and the procedures and the rules, the Senators left town. So disgraceful. We will know soon enough where these Senators went if they traveled during the recess. How many went on junkets. Who had fundraising trips. What they did rather than face their responsibilities. Like funding DHS. Like securing our elections. Like addressing this constitutional crisis they have allowed to take over the Senate and that they refuse to remedy. This is not what the voters bargained for. This irresponsible bunch of Senators who refuse to protect the Senate and ensure its ability to function to serve the people. They’re mad at @BasedMikeLee for calling this all into public view. On full display so we now see it - understand it. And hate it. But he’s not the problem. Dude deserves his day in the sun. He’s been fighting this fight longer and harder than almost anybody. Who’s James Lindsay? He’s one of the good guys.
