We can't tell you what is going to happen on a safari. We go in search of wildlife encounters and much more besides but there is no schedule, no roadmap for how it plays out. And therein lies the beauty of what we do, the unknown element is the adventure itself.

Our second encounter was altogether different. A habituation trek from the Rushaga trail head brought us into the process of habituating a family group of mountain gorillas. From the track and sign techniques to the identification of individuals and the ageing estimates.
