Hi guys, been a little quiet recently as I had initially planned on taking an extended break from social media. However due to recent events I thought I would come on here to address a few things on my part because it’s been blown out of proportion to the extent of also attacking my family members. First and foremost, I was never in a relationship with him. I first met him in early 2022 through their relationship. The three of us became good friends who supported each other in business, social media and life in general but I want to make it clear that there were zero intentions on my side throughout their entire relationship. After their breakup, they both came to me individually for comfort and I was merely trying my best to be a good friend to both of them. It’s easy for people outside the friendship to assume that I would have picked a side, but it wasn’t a black and white situation. It was their own personal relationship which I respected and the most important part to me was that I was there for the both of them. He had initiated many of our interactions post-breakup so naturally we got closer. Come Dec 2022, her and I talked about the situation when she was back in KL where she mentioned she was uncomfortable with the situation. Out of respect for my friendship with her I chose to stop pursuing anything beyond a friendship with him. Referencing the Rolex video, taken out of context I can admit that it may come off disrespectful. But I would like to clarify a few things. Firstly, the Rolex watch was personally purchased and paid for by myself. Owning a Rolex had always been on the top of my wishlist for a while, and he had the contacts to make that happen. Addressing him coming over to my house in that video, it was only because I was excited to see the watch so he delivered it as soon as he got it but I can see how some people may have misinterpreted it as he was in a relationship at that time. But to be clear, the whole meetup was entirely innocent because my whole family was there which was clearly shown in the video. Another thing that I feel is taken the wrong way was how I had him help me put the watch on. There was absolutely no hidden agenda behind that. Up to that point I had never owned a high end watch or anything close to it, I think it’s understandable that I asked for help considering it was brand new. Not too sure what else to add regarding that, but not everything you see has a deeper meaning. In terms of the reaction clip, would also like to clarify that she was unaware of the whole arrangement because the whole concept of the video was me surprising my friends and family with the watch. The only people who were aware of the purchase were my parents and him. At the end of the day, it’s important to remember that a Youtube video is only surface level and is a condensed version of what may only be a couple hours of my day and a glimpse of my relationships with people. This situation happened over a year ago, and upon reflection I acknowledge my wrongdoings and would like to apologise to her again, this time publicly. I’m sorry this cost us our friendship but I hope everyone can move forward from this. On that note, despite my part in the situation I strongly feel that some of the things that were being said online were unfair and out of line especially when it came to slandering my family. I know it can be fun to gossip and being in the public eye means dealing with constant criticism, but I don’t and never will condone spreading hate. Thank you to those who personally reached out to me before making any assumptions unlike many of those who just wanted to join the hate bandwagon. I hope this will be the last time I have to address this situation and that my private matters can be handled privately in the future. I also hope that I’ll be given the opportunity to grow as both a person and content creator. With all that being said, I will be continuing my break until further notice. Aisyah
