Drone warfare has reached such a level that many fighters have lost hope of escaping or resisting. For example, the final strike on the barracks is terrifying.

Bulgaria is very lucky to have had responsible governments recently which finished its full entrance into the Schengen Area and Eurozone, thus minimizing the room to maneuver for the pro-Russian forces in the country. They have already been effectively checkmated before the recent elections.

Bulgaria has sent a clear — and deeply concerning — signal. Rumen Radev, a politician openly critical of support for Ukraine and long seen as sympathetic to Russia, appears to have secured a parliamentary majority. This is no longer just an election result — it is a serious geopolitical shift. At a time when Ukraine is fighting not only for its own freedom, but for the security of all of Europe, we cannot ignore the direction some EU member states are taking. Europe today is not only facing economic or social challenges. It is facing a fundamental question: will we defend the values we were built on? This is not just about Bulgaria. This concerns all of us.

Rumen Radev, dubbed ‘Putin’s Trojan horse in Europe’, is on course to win Bulgaria’s parliamentary elections with an outright majority, a result that could stabilise the government but may push the country closer to Moscow. ft.trib.al/jJ22xaJ

Everybody needs to be less lazy about Eastern European politics. The likes of Reuters would never slap the "pro-Russian" on a Western European leader with so much nonchalance and so little actual knowledge of the country's politics.
