@JCMKOfficial@ds_775565 Outriders could have been really good if Square Enix didn't rush them and then cut funding.
I heard that they're MAYBE making a Outriders 2 though now that People can Fly have their own Publishing house and got the IP from Square Enix.
@DavidJa98113764@ds_775565 Bro I played 500 hours of TFD after it released consistently, without touching another game. I had 60% - 70% of the Roster with perfect endgame builds. The game had SO MANY ISSUES after the campaign that the Devs gave up and just cranked up the jerk off material to sell skins.
@ds_775565 TFD doesn't deserve the hate it gets. I was there when it first came out and all the hate I heard for it was just that you couldn't trade so it was "trash". Like imagine actually having to play the game to get loot? What a bs argument.
@ds_775565 TDF deserves all the hate it gets. Shameless goonerslop ripoff of Warframe.
Though Outriders doesn't deserve it. From my understanding it was purely Square Enix rushing them and then pulling the funding. Lately I've heard rumors of a potential Outriders 2 which might be cool.
@DSR_Joker Try and get into Warframe if you like. It's a different vibe compared to Destiny as there is no real PVP so Balance is both completely out the window and actually quite good. The only heads up though Buildcrafting in Warframe is A LOT more complex than Destinys.
@MarsMellowxiv@DSR_Joker Bungie did this shit the entire decade and always blamed it on their Publisher. "Oh it's Microsofts Fault, oh it's Sonys fault, ah Activision are just horribly greedy, oh now it's Sony again."
The greed was the worst during the time where they were independant for a while.
I do wonder though. How much of this nickel and diming was Bungie and how much of it was Sony. What was Bungie's plan? Make money from Marathon and then put that game in a content drought while they worked on Destiny? It's painfully obvious that Bungie does not have the ability in their structure to work on two projects at the same time.
@HarkRebSpiceWar@ShitpostRock2 Plus 1.2 billion employee retention and the general costs of upkeep and development over the last 4-5 years since the buyout. I believe so far Playstation spent more closer to 5 or 6 billion on Bungie.
@ShitpostRock2 Or more. BEcause how much did they BUY Bungie for? Looking online. 3.6 billion usd.. So.. Sony is looking at an almost 4 billion LOSS when it comes to the wholle BUngie Thing. Or more.
>Destiny 2 lost 90% of it's players and will not get any updates
>Marathon barely breaking 10k players on steam
>Sony records $560 million loss on Bungie acquisition
Is Bungie completly dead?
Bungie is planning a “significant round” of layoffs following ending Destiny 2 content
Destiny 3 is not in the works, and no other Destiny projects are currently green lit by Sony

@gamespark And before someone says 'jUsT uSe FlArEs' thank you, because I really want half my inventory clogged up with glowsticks that give me 6 seconde of breathing room.
@gamespark It's missing the theme of subnautica 1 completely. In Subnautica 1 you were the Survivor of a crash trying to survive by any means necessary. In Subnautica 2 you're a cuck that isn't allowed to defend himself despite killing tons of fish to eat ever 2 minutes of gameplay.
@gamespark Subnautica 1 was an exploration and survival game done so brilliantly that the horror came naturally.
Subnautica 2 tries so hard to shove horror and helplessnes down your throat that it just becomes incredibly frustrating.
@gamespark Like I can collapse the entire eco system by cooking and eating 40 fish every 30 minutes because of the insane hunger and thirst drain.
But I can only shake an angry flare at a Predator fish hitting me until I'm dead.
It's completely illogical.
@PolishTamales I don't want Marathon or Destiny to be shut down.
Playstation and Bungie need to learn a lesson about accountability. I hope Bungie looses Playstation many many billions more. So, stop killing games as well and all that.
Marathon: Day 72 - Opening Shift Edition🧹
Marathon hit an all-time low of 13,107 concurrent players on Friday evening, down from 15,178 the previous Friday week. For context, 36,374 concurrent players was the Friday peak in the month of April.
Marathon players remain skeptical of Bungie’s latest attempts to revive the struggling franchise.
In the studio’s most recent article on X, titled “Launch, Learnings, and What’s Next,” players voiced serious concerns and frustration over their experiences so far.
Meanwhile, the civil war rages on: Destiny 2 players continue to express deep disappointment with the lack of meaningful changes to their game.
As June approaches, the question looms... will Bungie finally get its act together, or will both titles bleed out even more players by Summer's end?
@ShmurdaBenny Try Warframe. Doesn't mean you have to stop playing the others. Just give Warframe a try. It's free and the community is very helpful to anyone who asks.
Finding myself in a bit of a gaming/streaming crisis, struggling to fill the time until D2 and Marathon new seasons..
I’m sure my following is majority D2 related, what games are you playing at the moment? What’s worth checking out? 🤔
@PolishTamales I think Playstation should force both games to remain active. Mostly because Stop killing games. But also because I want Sony to loose so much more Money that they want to sell the Destiny IP to someone who actually does something with it.
Bungie Is Facing a Civil War Right Now! ⛳️🔥
Destiny 2 players are fed up.
The community allegedly had to idle log bots just to make Marathon look like it had a decent player count, while Bungie keeps throwing everything they have at their struggling new game. Meanwhile the game that actually made them successful gets almost no meaningful updates.
To complete the shit sundae, Marathon is already making the same old mistakes by catering to streamers first. Bungie just announced special updates to stop stream snipers so big creators can have a better time... but they still haven't said a word about all the cheaters and exploits running wild in the game.
Destiny 2 finished yesterday with 11,736 concurrent players, while Marathon trails behind with only 11,497.
Loyal Destiny players are getting scraps while watching their game slowly die of testicular cancer. The two titles are cannibalizing each other and the community is over it.
Nobody's winning this civil war except the bots and the cheaters, as Bungie doesn't want to ban their most loyal whales.
@TaraBull How about pay your staff a livable wage? Where I'm from I tip to reward great service, good food. Not because the staff can't afford rent without tips. That sign would make me never go in there. I'm not responsible for paying your employees their salary.
