@BLOX @AREGames_Tweets @E_Jrblx omg using the panel was insanely tedious lol!! We used to drive ourselves crazy trying to keep up with bad actors or mass delete posts. Inceptiontime eventually made a plugin that helped streamline things immensely, but it was def a struggle for a long time :'(

Did you know that the OG Roblox forums were removed for THIS reason? The Roblox Forums had a 13.5 year lifespan from 2004-2017 and millions of posts were made across subforums.. > Clans & Guilds (C&G) > Lets Make a Deal (LMaD) > Roblox Talk (RT) > Off Topic (OT) > Scripting Helpers These forums were moderated by a team of moderators managed by @ReverseRBLX Users would receive titles if they were “Top 100”, “Top 50”, and “Top 25” posters by post count I was pretty close to Top 100 and had 14k posts across multiple sub forums Members of sub forums would wait until moderators go offline and then raid other sub forums Unfortunately YouTubers like @Quackity had a little too much fun live streaming while raiding the forums.. After a couple stream raids, Roblox ultimately decided the best solution was to shutdown the forums and create the exclusive Roblox Developer forum.. This has lead to the rise of large 10,000+ member Discord servers for communities to go to for recruiting or to report exploiters/degenerates Were you active on the forums? If so what was your favorite sub forum? If you weren’t around back then.. which subforum do you wish you could go back to experience? And do you think Roblox should bring this back? #Roblox

@ReverseRBLX @AREGames_Tweets The moderation tools for that forum were insanely basic. I had to create browser extension to do things like scan titles for keywords to then delete. And a handful of other useful features Even with having more staff, the forum software itself was the other biggest bottleneck

@AREGames_Tweets I don't think raids were the biggest issue. The real issue was that there was a backlog of posts over a decade which could contain inappropriate material which slipped through moderation at that time. Couple that with the insane userbase growth and it just wasn't sustainable.

@lilygia Yeah I mean it makes sense, someone else reminded me about the og meme hats from years ago so fair play there. But thinking about how Roblox has recently de-prioritised brainrot games from the games page It just seems like they don't know what they want right now

@InceptionTime Memes are fun for the new gen, let them have their fun, but why does roblox lock them out of games? It's like a mixed message, under-16yo locked out of most games going into summer break but they're running a 67 promo 🙃

Okay to say Roblox has hit a new low was a wrong choice of words But they’ve been really trying to capture the older audience and the 67 stuff seems like a step back rather than a step forwards. Either way, not my cup of tea but fair play

@disgobrain That’s a fair point, yeah it’s pretty much the same thing. Ironic though as roblox has been pushing so hard to age up and gain more of an older audience. This seems like completely the opposite
