Probably a hot take but I actually think Roblox is an extremely safe platform and their moderation is pretty impressive for a platform of 380m MAUs. That’s not to say Roblox is perfect, but I think it’s unfairly getting too much blame. Parents need to be more aware of the safety features available. Disabling chat and restricting certain experiences drastically reduces a child's online risk. The main problem is Roblox’s lack of communication, and they're losing trust because of it. They don’t need to respond to every outcry, but there are valid concerns that still need answers. If a user is arrested for predatory acts, why aren't they immediately terminated? Why are inappropriate roleplay games still up? (i.e. bathroom simulator, etc)
