As a Disabled People’s Organisation that advocates for inclusivity and accessibility, Inclusion Scotland have made the decision to cease all activity on this platform.

@LGBTIScotland · Guide Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) and LGBTQIA+ organisations in addressing the unique challenges faced by people with overlapping identities.

@LGBTIScotland The toolkit will provide training and resources to: ​ · Help health and social care staff better understand and support LGBTQIA+ disabled people.

Tomorrow is #HumanRightsDay, an annual reminder of the ongoing fight for justice, equality and human dignity worldwide. The delay in the introduction of the Human Rights Incorporation (Scotland) Bill is a significant barrier to achieving true equality.

Together, we will ensure that disabled voices are heard and that impactful actions are made towards independence and choice for disabled people.

Inclusion Scotland welcomes the news of the £2.5m Disability Equalities Plan in the Scottish Budget, announced yesterday. This is an important step towards addressing the challenges disabled people and other marginalised communities face.
