Over 7.5 GwH of battery projects are currently under construction across different states in India. They need to be accelerated rapidly. Otherwise we will forever be import dependent . India will be requiring 37 GWh of BESS capacity by 2027, and 236 GWh by 2031-32 as per National Electricity Plan.
