Community Development Block Grants provide rural communities funding for some of their most pressing projects, largely impacting low- and moderate- income populations. These projects help improve the quality of life in the local community and throughout the state. 🧵

Hoosier hometowns, this is your chance to level‑up!
OCRA’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) are open, pumping millions of federal dollars straight into rural Indiana to:
• Revitalize Main Streets & historic squares
• Rebuild drinking‑water & wastewater systems
• Tackle storm‑water headaches
• Clear out dangerous blight
• Create parks, childcare centers, and other public facilities
Plus, planning grants up to $60K help you draft the playbook before a single brick is laid. The last round delivered $9.4 M to 15 communities — your town could be next.
Here’s the game plan:
1️⃣ Team up with a certified grant administrator.
2️⃣ Pass your local resolution of support.
3️⃣ Submit that Letter of Intent and show OCRA you’ve got the vision and the grit.
Let’s steward these dollars wisely, protect our heritage, and keep Indiana’s faith‑filled, freedom‑loving communities thriving for generations. Ready to build?
