@IndieCurator I completely agree and this is why we started doing Indie Wednesdays on our site @waytoomanygames. Indies have given us some of our favorite games, so we want to shine a spotlight on up and coming releases.

The saddest thing about indie games? Some of the most creative projects ever made will never be discovered by most players. Not because they’re bad. Because nobody talks about them. That’s why supporting indie devs — and each other — matters 🎮 #IndieGames #IndieDev #Gaming

@xetoilzethos Yes, you're right, but I think fairness is important because I want to ensure that the giants of the indie game support each other. The feeling of favoritism or paid posting goes against the general philosophy of this community.🤝

I’ll continue sharing indie devs and their games shortly To keep things fair, I’ll mostly go from oldest followers to newest instead of choosing randomly. I’ve received messages from devs saying they’ve been supporting for days without getting featured.

@wltr3565 Yes, I agree. Creativity is the most important quality an indie game should possess, but we are being limited in one direction.

@IndieCurator Visibility AND market compatibility problem. Depending on the vogue, only specific genres of (indie) games get the coverage and virality. Much nicher titles get buried easily. Then that's where creativity is indirectly punished. Ahem, rougelites, ahem.

Indie gaming doesn’t have a creativity problem. It has a visibility problem. Many small indie teams can’t afford massive marketing. But if indie devs stop creating, will gaming belong only to giant studios and sponsored projects? Support indie developers 🎮 #IndieDev #GameDev

@ExplodinBeef The list goes from oldest to newest, so it's progressing correctly from bottom to top, and it's very important for indie developers to have streamers like you playing games And if there are any games from my followers that you like, we'd be very happy if you could play them.

@IndieCurator I guess I'm fine with being skipped. (I'm just here for the indies) If any of them have playtests I'm in. So long as they're ok with me streaming it.

There’s no such thing as a game being “objectively bad.” Some games connect with certain players. Others don’t. Every game has its own audience. Players should decide what succeeds — not algorithms. That’s why every indie developer deserves a chance 🎮 #IndieGames #IndieDev

Solo indie devs creating action-packed games with their own vision will always deserve more attention. Fast gameplay, powers, chaotic battles, and pure indie passion — really liking the energy behind @STARBORN_123 🎮⚡ #IndieGames #IndieDev

Small indie teams building games together will always be inspiring to me. A husband and wife team creating passion projects with their own ideas and creativity — that’s the kind of energy indie gaming needs 🎮 Wishing the best for @perceivinglight. #IndieGames #IndieDev

One of the best things about indie gaming is seeing developers from different countries connected by creativity. Really like the passion and energy behind @DreamOfGuineaP 🎮 That global indie spirit is what makes this scene special. #IndieGames #IndieDev

@KeeperAtTheGate Yes, I agree. We need creative and fun games. It's just that some games start this way but never reach the release stage or sell. My concern is increasing the visibility of these games.

@IndieCurator There will always be indies because the barrier to entry is now so low thanks to game engines like Unity, UE5, Godot, etc. AI is only going to lower that bar even further (that does not mean they will be bad games, I'm just talking about barrier to entry).

@EmsBiz10 Yes, I completely agree. Our goal is to reach the target audience based on the game genre. But let's not forget that a user's decision to buy depends on the game's quality.

Those with money vs those without will never change. But there is definitely a shelf (min requirement to get something done to a satisfactory level) All we can do as supporters is “look up” indie games as best we can There has to be a level of creativity in reaching your desired audience

@Xepulveda_Aldo Is that really the case? For example, if you had the money, you could get 1 million views for advertising on X. You could pay an influencer to post something and also pay video streamers to play your game. In such an industry, even if a quality game comes out, it has no chance.
