@rickygervais Mine was their Avalon album. Music should be like that again: paid for, listened to with proper attention, sleeve notes etc. now music is just background noise to most people. And we, the songwriters, make absolutely no money on the craft.

No cheating - 1st Album you ever bought with your own money? Mine was “Stranded” by Roxy Music from Quicksilver Records in Reading. I was 13. I’d saved up and I remember being on the bus on the way into town clutching my 3 quid 😂

@camilafanrick03 @bryanadams I don’t know… no matter the quality of any cover version, it always creates awareness of the original. So it’s advertising, really. I do find covers on YouTube, but not as many as one would think, with his success.
