Pumpfun bought back $370 Million worth of its tokens over the past year and the chart still looks like a ski hill. It's not surprising however because the token has no utility, doesn't represent ownership, isn't tied to revenue or even governance. Why should it be worth anything?

Crypto gaming market peaked 5 years ago. Been a bear market since. Gut tells me gaming leads us out of the overall crypto bear market. Too strong of a narrative with AI agents not to. DeFi summer frontran the overall 2021 crypto bull market. I see the same things happening here.

The next era of play to earn gaming will be Agentic. 5 years later and we now have the right framework for a sustainable and scalable model. Human labor sweatshop style Filipino Axie farms will be replaced by AI agents. The crypto gaming economy will be 1000x bigger than in 2021.

Had a great call with @beaniemaxi and @vohvohh discussing web3 gaming, and what Matt and Beanie are building with @crittersquest . Web3 gaming isn't dead. Web3 gaming is finding its identity. The secret is finding the perfect balance of fun and finance.

I'll take the other side of this bet. Blockchain fixes more problems in gaming than any other industry. Tokenization of assets is growing. Got a secular gambling tailwind. Financialization of gaming is a mega trend. Embarrassing statement by the president of Solana Foundation.

Paid influencer marketing is a red flag that whatever you're buying will be a loss (usually total loss). I can't think of any NFT project or crypto token launch that used paid shills and lasted longer than a couple days of relevance. High effort projects don't use such tactics.
