Eagles on the Hudson🦅 Bald eagles are on the ice on the Hudson River during winter primarily to hunt for fish and conserve energy. I was fortunate enough to observe and capture some of their behavior amid the fury of ice floes and deep freeze. What an exhilarating experience!

80-90% of the workers at the JBS Meat Processing Plant in Greeley Colorado are immigrants. (Mostly refugees and migrants from Somalia and East Africa, and most recently Haitians). (BTW Many of the Somali people in Greeley came from the entry point of Minneapolis!) Why am I hearing about Muslims getting tens of thousands of dollars repeatedly from discrimination lawsuits...? Anyways, like 1/3rd of their workforce is here with the "Temporary Protected Status," that ends on February 3rd 2026. With active law suits with the Haitians that are likely to be deported it'll be fascinating to see how this one turns out!!
