.@ColoSpartansNAL quarterback Paxton Lynch suffered a torn ACL in the team's 50-11 win against the Amarillo Warbirds last night, per The Denver Post. Lynch, a former NFL first-round pick, was signed by the Spartans this past off-season.

@inside_arena @ColoSpartansNAL As a matter of fact, Lynch is not listed in the box score of the two games Colorado has played since the Salina game, including the aforementioned Amarillo game. Javin Kilgo is the QB listed in the stats for those games. Seems to me someone gave you some bad information!

@inside_arena @ColoSpartansNAL We were told he suffered the injury on March 28th in a road loss in Salina. He was taken off the field in the 2nd Quarter of that game and did not return. The Spartans immediately signed QB Javin Kilgo on March 30th. Colorado has failed to list Lynch on IR on the league website!

Coach Loftis brings a deep-rooted history with the organization, having played for the Beef from 2011–2013 before returning in 2018 as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator. His leadership, experience, and understanding of the team’s championship culture make him a natural fit to step into this role.
