Assam Rifles successfully carried out a swift rescue operation to recover a vehicle that had rolled down beneath a bridge near Kheti Village in Tirap District today. On receiving information about the incident, troops of #AssamRifles immediately rushed to the spot and launched a well-coordinated operation despite difficult terrain and challenging conditions. Demonstrating strong teamwork, determination and technical expertise, the troops successfully retrieved the vehicle and brought it back to a safe location.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized cash amounting to Rs 50.50 lakh and three high-end luxury vehicles during search and survey operations conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, on July 29 at eight residential and business premises of Imperia Wishfield Pvt Ltd, Imperia Structures Ltd, their promoter directors, and the present Resolution Professional in Delhi. Various digital devices and incriminating documents like property documents related to promoters and directors of IWPL and ISL, audited financials, tally data, details of diversion of funds, and details of all the funds invested by the buyers were also recovered and seized: ED (Pic source: ED)

As of 6 pm yesterday (29th July), thirteen (13) cases have been registered by the Delhi Police in connection with the NEET (UG) paper leak protests at Jantar Mantar. The Delhi Government has directed the Delhi Police not to take any adverse legal action against persons involved in the protests at Jantar Mantar. "The protection, however, shall not extend to persons having criminal antecedents, as mandated in the order of Supreme Court." The government has also directed that the arrest/detention made in the case to be reviewed expeditiously.

Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas @TheSureshGopi says that as on 1st of this month, there are 33.13 crore domestic LPG consumers, including 10.58 crore Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) connections in the country. All domestic LPG consumers receive LPG refills at regulated retail selling prices, which are lower than market-determined prices. Currently, domestic LPG refill prices of Rs 942 per cylinder carry an implicit subsidy of more than Rs 500 per cylinder.
