The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has stayed the transfer order of Delhi DGHS chief Dr. Vatsala Aggarwal till the next hearing on 29 May 2026. Dr. Aggarwal had challenged the Delhi government’s 21 May order transferring her from the post of Director General Health Services and placing her under “awaiting posting” without assigning any new role. IndianOil remains committed to ensuring reliable fuel availability across the country."

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweets, "Cabinet has approved the integration and continuation of SARTHAK-PDS as an umbrella scheme marking a significant step towards building a unified, transparent and citizen-centric Public Distribution System under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With a central outlay of ₹25,530 crore for the 16th Finance Commission period and continuation till 31 March 2031, the scheme will strengthen food security for 81.35 crore NFSA beneficiaries through improved foodgrain movement, modernised supply-chain management and enhanced support for States/UTs and FPS dealers. The integration of SMART-PDS initiatives, Aadhaar seeding, e-PoS automation, AI-driven monitoring and grievance systems, along with technologies such as AI, ML and Blockchain, will further improve efficiency, transparency and last-mile delivery across the country."

The Supreme Court agreed to examine a plea challenging a CBSE policy mandating the study of three languages, including at least two native Indian languages, for Class 9 students. A bench of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi issued notices to the Centre, CBSE and the NCERT and sought their replies within two weeks. According to a recent circular issued by #CBSE, the study of three languages, including at least two native Indian languages, has been made compulsory for Class 9 students beginning from 1st of July. The move is part of CBSE's alignment of its scheme of studies with National Education Policy (#NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. #SupremeCourt
