@rel_illustrator We try to advise english-speaking users to keep compliments like that on Japanese art to a minimum because it doesn't translate well. Thank you for making an awareness post ;-; I can't imagine how confusing it is to get comments like "omg how dare you I'm SHAKING" on art lol

海外のオタクが絵に残すコメント、 直訳すると全部ヤバい 「Delete this」 → 消してくれ （本当の意味：良すぎて正気を保てない。俺がおかしくなる前に消してくれ） 「You're so sick for this」 → お前病気だろ （本当の意味：こんなの描けるのどうかしてる、という最大級の称賛） 「I'm unwell」 → 体調悪くなったわ （本当の意味：この絵で感情揺さぶられすぎて情緒崩壊した😇） 「Block yourself」 → 自分をブロックしてもろて （本当の意味：才能ありすぎて存在がしんどい。俺がおかしくならないよう自重してくれ🙏） 「Why would you do this to me」 → なぜ俺にこんな仕打ちを… （本当の意味：なんでこんなに良いもの描けるんですか） 直訳するとクレーマーだから 初めてこういうコメントが来たらビックリすると思うけど、 全部褒め言葉だったりするから紛らわしいね🫠 こっちでいうところの 「待ってむりしぬ」的な表現だと思う これは初見でわからなくてもしょうがない
