Oggi si ricorda Santa Monica, madre di Sant’Agostino: con le sue preghiere e le sue lacrime chiedeva al Signore la conversione del figlio! Preghiamo per tante mamme, che soffrono quando i figli si sono un po’ perduti o stanno su strade difficili nella vita.

Assicuro il ricordo nella preghiera per le vittime degli incendi divampati in questi giorni nel nord-est della Grecia, ed esprimo solidale vicinanza al popolo greco. E restiamo sempre vicini anche al popolo ucraino, che soffre per la guerra: non dimentichiamo l’Ucraina!
