Very happy to share our new paper in @PNASNews on how #GriffonVultures change their movement and social behaviour with age: pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn… It seems that old griffons are much like old humans: they like to stay at home, are set in their routines and are a bit antisocial.








Using locations of >1800 colonies and tracks from 354 individuals, we assessed wind turbine exposure for Lesser Kestrels in EU and Africa. 26% of the EU pop has at least 1 turbine around colony. Sadly, Natura2000 fails to mitigate potential impact sciencedirect.com/science/articl…



European Rollers are arriving at their breeding grounds and we have just retrieved the data of a GPS-tagged bird! What an incredible journey! #migration #tracking



Our #EuropeanRoller project was featured in @RTP2 Biosfera! 👉rtp.pt/play/p12688/bi… We are still installing nest-boxes for our #rollers in Alentejo, hoping these will make a difference to save the species from extinction! @CIBIO_InBIO
