That came from our discussion that we wanted a song that if we played it to a crowd at a Peasant show, that it needs to cause a human whirlpool. Which lead to the simple working title of “Peasants”. As you can see, it didn’t need any specific notes. Just the name and the BPM \m/

More musings about our song writing sessions, takes us back to jamming and wanting a tune that would make you want to go full Hulk SMASH on everything around you. Something with pace, groove, and big pick/stick energy to it.

That got us thinking 195 -->1995 (and being the proud South Africans that we are) --> 1995 rugby world cup --> which we won --> with a @stranners drop goal! And from that point on, this album opener was to be known as “Joel Stransky” until it was officially dubbed “Burnt Relic”.
