I was warned that these had to go out today but lo and behold, they are still on my desk. Apologies! The Parents Assocation will hold its AGM in the school on Wednesday evening the 6th November 2019 at 9pm and everyone is welcome. Sorry again! I’ll send it tomorrow for sure!

We have been learning about squirrels. Look at Senior Infants’ writing on the topic! We are improving at copying writing from the board. Notice the spacing and the correct letter size. Look at our capital letters and full stops! #makingprogress #workinghard

We had a VERY busy day today, with lots of visitors. The Religion Visitor came this morning. We chatted about being kind and sharing. We talked about where Jesus came from & who was in his family. We discussed our families & how we belong there and to our school community.

To finish off #mathsweek we took part in a classroom maths trail. Junior and Senior Infants worked together with Senior Infants being the scribe. Maths really is all around us.

It was peppers and bananas today for #fooddudes. There were some pretty unimpressed faces and reluctant tasters but they did it! Well done (especially to those who REALLY don’t like bananas!!). 🍌🍌🍌

In the school bags, you will find a simple Maths trail to be completed at home to celebrate #mathsweek. We will chat about the results at school tomorrow!

There is an information booklet in the school bags for the parents. You can record the fruit and vegetables that your child eats over the next few weeks. #HealthyEating #Wellbeing #fooddudes

Today was the first day of @Bordbia’s #fooddudes initiative. We tried corn and apples. Would you believe it - EVERYONE in the class earned a sticker. Well done to the children especially those who really didn’t like their veg but tried it anyway! What a great start!
