In 1937, Theodore Illion write 'Darkness Over Tibet'. It was probably a work of fiction presented as a travelogue, but it is fascinating. The black lodge, loosh farming black Bonpa magicians, telepathically controlling the earth from a subterranean kingdom, astrally attacking the protagonist with soul snatching, soulless automatons in his dreams. Fascinating little book. These are the greys. 🤔

I'd also add that what he was saying under a veil was that this was what he was seeing in his homeland... a counter initiation of the type written of by Guenon that was seeping into elements of Germany and Austria through völkisch groups that mixed up Wolfram von Eschenbach’s Parzival with Eastern spiritual narratives. Guido von List and Jorg Van Liebenfels stuff.

My reasoning is that the alien grey narrative is at times linked with mkultra type mind control. The nazis had allegedly been deeply interested in what they believed were these real subterranean initiates in the Himalayas based off of these kinds of books and through people like Karl Haushofer and his alleged membership of certain occult orders that utilised techniques to control and deceive. The early American contact scene was full of charlatan types that portrayed themselves as having spiritual links back to Tibet and being in touch with the so called hidden 'masters'. Rosicrucian via Theosophy spin offs.

Book one is more travelogue. I have read it. But Illion probably never went to Tibet. Illion is a pseudonym. As was his later name Burang. These names were chosen by a man who sold himself as a secret descendent of the Plantagenet bloodline because they mean something else... they are part of a larger esoteric riddle the author constructed. The Plantagenet claim leads to certain Grail allusions (view this actual book as Chapel Perilous) .... again, these link to Tibet in this era based on things such as the Theosophy angle leading to the Lapsis Exilis (see Roerich) being in Tibet... and also the stories that the Masters were in fact the ancient Rosicrucian brothers and that the mythical Christian Roesenkreuz had travelled to Tibet as part of his own learning.

Karl Hunrath, a UFO-obsessed loner, was visited at night by Mr. Bosco, who injected him w/ paralyzing chemicals, posed as an alien & gave him blueprints for aircraft-destroying weapons. Mr. Bosco may have been Bosco Nedelcovic, CIA operative involved in the Villas-Boas abduction.

In 1957, Brazilian farmer Antonio Villas Boas reported an alien abduction. A former CIA operative later described staging a hoax abduction on an unnamed farmer in Brazil as part of Operation Mirage, a program that manufactured fake UFO incidents, using MKULTRA psywar techniques.
