The Wonder of Tolkien@TolkienWonder
C.S. Lewis was once asked how he managed to write with such ease. He replied: “I don’t know what I mean till I see what I’ve said.”

@NorthAuthority I don't know, some people can get pretty nasty when they get what they want and don't need anyone anymore..

He left his body in a cave, entered a dead king's body, learned what he needed - then raced back before his own body was burned.
Day 38 of 112 #DeathBook
Sadhguru on Adi Shankara and transmigration - Chapter 4 of Death: An Inside Story:
Adi Shankara was the most formidable debater of his era. His logic was so precise that few could stand against him.
Once, a great religious scholar challenged him to a debate - and lost. Then the scholar's wife intervened. Her argument: you defeated my husband, but we are two halves of the same whole. You must debate with me too. How can you beat that logic?
The debate began. Shankara was winning. So the woman shifted the ground entirely - she began asking him about human sexuality. Shankara was a brahmachari - a celibate from birth. He had no experiential knowledge of what she was asking.
He said: I need one month's pause. The debate will resume after that.
He then went into a cave and told his disciples: no matter what happens, do not let anyone in. I am going to leave my body for some time.
At that exact moment, a king in a nearby region had just been bitten by a cobra and died. Cobra venom, Sadhguru explains, causes the Prana Vayu to exit more slowly than usual - taking up to four and a half hours rather than the usual ninety minutes. This creates an ideal window for someone to enter the body.
Shankara left his own body - leaving behind his Vyana Vayu to maintain it - and entered the king's body. He then went and experienced everything he needed to answer the woman's questions. When the wise men around the king saw their declared-dead ruler suddenly sit up, full of energy, with a completely different quality of presence - they grew suspicious.
They sent soldiers throughout the kingdom with one order: burn every dead body you find. Immediately.
The soldiers found Shankara's body in the cave. His disciples tried to stall them - claiming their Guru was merely in deep Shavasana and would wake soon. Unconvinced, the soldiers built a pyre inside the cave and placed the body on it.
The moment the fire was about to be lit - sensing this from inside the king's body - Shankara released himself from the king and returned to his own.
The king dropped dead. Shankara walked out of the cave. Returned to the debate. And won.
He was thirty-two years old when he left his body for the last time. He was last seen in Kedarnath. No one knows exactly how or where he went.

@NorthAuthority I'm just going to say something positive because there's no replacement for the fury I'm feeling concerning and surrounding my health and well being...😂
