The earliest written records of slavery come from ancient Mesopotamia, but the practice itself likely existed earlier, before writing systems were invented. Attacking white people and lying about slavery is a racist and political response. If slavery is the greatest crime against humanity, then let the UN condemn both Ghana and every other area of Africa first. No? Because it was "cultural" black-on-black slavery, so not wrong and "legal". Sorry, you want to make the argument start at the root cause.
