@DrMacknificent That's so true. I left there and have jump multiple times since and increase my salary making over 5x the amount I was making at that company. Meanwhile a friend who is still there 11 yrs later hasn't hit 100,000. Its nuts.

@InfoSecQueen I was just telling somebody this the other day. Start at 50k and it’s gone take you 33-34 years to hit 100k staying in that same role. Folks need a promotion or jump ship to expedite the process.

@InfoSecQueen Honestly? I don't think any career course is immune to the layoff bug. If the attorney track calls to you and you can pull it off then do it, either way you will have marketable skills and the ability to go out on your own/throw open your own solo doors.
