@JordanWiemer We have very few games against top sides remaining so we should in theory be able to win a fair few. Problem is, we’ll win two then lose one horribly, at home. Think we’ll finish 8th

@JordanWiemer There’s many small issues that together are causing us to look poor at times. I think K9 will prove somewhere (please let it be here) that he’s a natural goalscoring machine. But if the defenders are simply hoofing it up to him of course he’s going to look rubbish.

Didn’t quite work in the end, did it? We just couldn’t quite connect the midfield, too slow from the back line (apart from Mfuni). I’m not an anti Kjerrumgaard guy, but I did think we saw a considerable improvement when we added some mobility to the front line. Chakvetadze/Irankunda were also really poor, and that’s a huge blow. They’re your creativity. Everything needs to run through them, and nothing ran through them.. Chak is in a tough spot, but he’s been pulled all over the place positionally/role wise. We need to settle on how he’s being used and give him a run of games. I’ve seen quite a few question his ability, some short memories there IMO. Yeah the form this season hasn’t been good enough, but I’ll die on the hill that he’s comfortably one of the best players at the club. Find a way to make it work with him. Irankunda, he plays young.. He’s so talented, but so raw. He’s probably one of those player you just ride it out with, let him make mistakes etc. But it’s pretty tough to commit to at this point of the season. @roseyjason Agreed, he’s better than Alleyne by some way I think. Thought he was shattered at the end of the 90 which is understandable.

@WD18Fans Be amazed if he’s had full selection on this given short time available to him? Charlie Daniels must have had input. Although LK9 has his detractors I’m not one. Putting him up top alone and firing in shoulder high bullets for him to control is something peak Okaka couldn’t do.

@harrod_alan @louorns I agree. Most are fingers crossed hoping it works out. There’s a vocal minority against EVERY appointment. Pep could walk in and these same people would be howling at the moon.

Appreciate I’m in the minority, and the optics around it aren’t great with Mogi Bayat, but I do like this appointment; along with the decision to keep Charlie Daniels in the first team. Also got a few messages from people who worked against him speaking really highly of his ideas

I really like the direction we’ve gone with regarding recruitment this window and last window, but it’s all a bit pointless if the coach coming in isn’t suited to it. The 1% in you would like to think they won’t fuck it up again

@androofrench The Formose Mendy situation has a strong whiff of Abdoulaye Doucoure about it. Mazzari couldn’t see a player in there and as an absolute last resort had to throw him in due to injuries. Turned out he couldn’t see a legend I’m not saying FM is a legend in waiting but easy to miss

Kayemebe has got to be playing as high as possible in that 3. Odd decision with the Wing Backs, especially with both just returning from injury. Equally odd that Semedo gets the nod again too (plus no Doubmia on the bench). Very strange line up.

Lots of cutting back from Mendy and plenty of Alleyne with his hands in the air, but the movement from Semedo has been nonexistent. I don’t understand how we’ve managed to put zero pressure on Bryan/Cooper in that situation.

@louorns Incredible to see Semedo starting. He hasn’t looked good enough for the bench. Baah one of the most dangerous players in the league and he’s not on.

Nobody can tell me we haven’t got a good squad for this level. We’re playing so far below the capabilities that we have. What on earth is Baah doing on the bench every week
