At the RMB Nigeria Economic Forum, our VP, Origination & Structuring, joined a panel on "Financing the Future" to discuss how stronger project preparation and credible de-risking frameworks can convert unbankable projects into investable assets that can attract long-term capital.

Nigeria’s pension assets are expanding over time, offering a significant pool of long-term capital for infrastructure. Deployment depends on well-structured instruments. Credit enhancement is emerging as a key mechanism for aligning pension capital with productive infrastructure.

We were pleased to host Dr. Abdul Kamara and the team from @AfDB_Group at the office last week. As a capital provider since 2019, AfDB remains a key partner, and the visit advanced discussions on risk-sharing partnerships and infrastructure transactions across priority sectors.

InfraCredit has joined the Convergence Blended Finance Global Network as an institutional member. The membership will deepen engagement with international investors and development partners while expanding access to resources to advance clean energy and infrastructure financing.

Progressing our knowledge exchange with @InfraZaminPK, this week, we explored the structuring journey behind the recently issued Green Bond, Pakistan’s telecom sector’s first Green Bond backed by a 100% principal guarantee.

This week, we joined the @AfricaMDA Minigrid Executive Bootcamp where developers, investors, and sector stakeholders convened under AMDA Capital Connect to explore the financial and operational foundations for developing bankable minigrid projects.

Last week, at the SEV2050 Regional Stakeholder Forum, our COO joined private sector leaders and policymakers on a panel to unpack practical strategies for mobilising and deploying public, private, and development capital at scale to support regional economic transformation.

Backed by InfraCredit’s guarantee, GPC raised NGN20bn in 2021 through a domestic bond issuance, enabling institutional investment in logistics infrastructure and demonstrating how credit enhancement strengthens market confidence and supports successive issuances. (2/2)
