First week in the books.   Mon: A day I’ll never forget at the Hurd. Filled my heart to see everyone in that room, especially the students. Thank you!  Thank you! Tue/Wed: Two fun early afternoons with the first-ever back-to-back scream games at Foster – Gratitude to the teachers/principals for the extra effort to make that happen. Thur: Athletic Department Christmas party - so good to see so many familiar faces and a few new ones. Fri: Spent time touring our Creative Services area at McLane. Wow! That facility & team is first-class, and they are just getting started. They will be a key part of our strategy moving forward as we continue to tell our 1-of-1 story, engage with fans and expand opportunities for our student-athletes. Ended the day getting to welcome our new DC @CoachKlanderman and his wife Amanda. You're going to like this guy.   And finally my prayers to Mike Holman’s family. Baylor lost one of our all-time greats this week. I was fortunate to work with him on the @BearFoundation board and watch his passion for everything Baylor. Mike will be missed!

A special moment at my first game back. @vangytenbeek is not only an incredible athlete but also serves Waco as a beloved student teacher at my daughters’ school. Nothing excited them more over the last few days than hearing I got to meet “Coach Jana”. This is the business we are in at Baylor. World class students with meaningful community impact.
