@themikegsimon @assamshiraz Looking forward to the day when I can make it up your way as well, my man 😎
English

The internet is crazy.
@assamshiraz and I worked together for a few months from August last year.
On Monday, we finally met in person.
It was a wholesome couple of hours.
We got to vibe in conversation.
And, Assam got to try a good ol' British jacket potato for the first time.
I love to coach.
It's what I know I've been called to do.
I love to cultivate the space for others to change in a way they desire.
For deep transformation that goes beyond the mental intellect.
But, what I really love and appreciate is the connections that can be formed by working so closely and deeply with someone.
Because I only want to work with people that I can see myself spending time with in real life.
Meeting Assam was proof of that.
Hopefully I'll be able to get over to Canada in the near future.

@NikHuno And this is how I feel about local "burns." (regional Burning man events)
Put a man inside of a radically different culture, and home things really start to come to the surface!

Next Monday, I’m hosting my first workshop of the year.
When I first started building my coaching business, I was overwhelmed by the noise of "coaches-who-coach-coaches" screaming from the mountain tops:
“Sell high-ticket offers!”
I felt uncomfortable charging people for deep, transformative work.
But, I also wanted to build a business that provided a healthy income— one that would allow me to eventually leave my 9 to 5, have autonomy over my time, travel more with my family, and serve my clients at the highest level.
I was conflicted.
I looked at other coaches’ programmes and tried to replicate their pricing, hoping it would work for me.
But it never felt right.
I charged my first long-term client £900 for several months of coaching.
His "yes" was a physical shock to my system.
That’s when I realised:
Pricing isn't just a mindset thing—it’s a full-body experience.
So, instead of staying stuck in my head, plucking numbers out of thin air, I used a body-oriented tool— one I often use with clients facing uncertainty in life and business—to explore my own pricing.
Soon after my exploration with this tool, I shared it with a client.
The result?
✅ He gained clarity and confidence in the pricing of his signature offer
✅ Just days after our 2-month journey, he signed his first "high-ticket" client for a 6-month program
On Monday, the 17th of February, I’m sharing this exact tool inside my workshop:
"The Art Of Pricing With Purpose"
If you’re tired of second-guessing your prices and want to finally feel deeply confident in what you offer—this is your invitation.
Booking closes Saturday at noon.

@themikegsimon Someone who has been through the problems that I want to solve, for my life.

Last night, I joined a Zoom call with 100+ coaches and therapists.
The topic?
"The Blurring Lines Between Coaching and Therapy: An Inevitable Evolution?"
Many questions were asked.
I could see the distaste on some people's faces when they heard an answer that didn't resonate with them.
There was a particular response that caught my attention: a coach shared that they had a client who displayed emotion (tears) in one of their sessions; when this happened, she was unsure if this was "OK."
And, this reminded me of a past coaching call where a client asked me:
Is it OK to cry?
As they sat with new insights emerging from a question I asked them.
I'm a believer that you can't eliminate the emotion from the entrepreneurial journey.
You might try to cover it up with excessive work and adopting the hustle culture mindset, but that is short-lived.
It's detrimental long-term.
Just because you can't see it, it doesn't mean you won't feel it.
People are seeking more than just a coach who can ask powerful questions.
They're seeking someone who can hold space for them with no judgement so that they can be all that they are in that moment.
And if that means bringing a pot full of tears to the coaching table, then so be it.
My question to you is:
When looking for a coach, what are you looking for?
English

@patriot_faith @stephen_parato Yeah, I was going to say embodiment.
Everything is fundamentally an expression of energy, and I've found that colors, styles, etc., have helped me embrace different aspects of myself, as I've matured.
English

@stephen_parato A spiritual teacher of mine once said dress the part you want to play in the world. It’s not deeply meaningful per se, but you could just think of it as the inner child playing the game. I notice when I dress differently I feel and am treated differently. Nothing major
English

@themikegsimon processing pain (emotional, existential, but also could be physical) is just that -
A process.
We get better, faster, and more resilient at doing it, the more we do it. And realizing that it's a journey gives ourselves the grace to treat ourselves gently as we evolve. ❤️
English

@stephen_parato It would take a whole hour long back-and-forth conversation to get into that, so unfortunately I won't give my reply justice in this short format 😅
English

@InnerTuned Good catch! What do those points represent to you?
English

@jordanurbs @holistichumhive I can definitely vouch for the no food before bed tip!
I generally goto bed at 9:00 p.m, and if I finish eating at 4:00-4:30 p.m, all the energy that my body would typically spend on digestion goes --> rest + recovery!!!
English

@holistichumhive Amber lights at night, no screens at least an hour before bed, blue light blockers, no food 3 hours before bed, a few yin yoga poses immediately before bed

I'm so far in the weeds...
And it feels hopeless. 🥲
What started off as trying to improve my website's framerate, has turned into a mess of loading 200 planets dynamically, and seeing how performance is impacted.
Ignorance debt is so, so, SO expensive. 😭

You learn something new everyday, when you're focused on just doing one thing.
The growth I've experienced in the last 3 months?
Painful.
But with pain, comes growth.
And with growth, comes the goals you set. ✨

Not everything is fun and games, when building an interactive website - Turns out, you gotta make someone click on a webpage before you can play a sound. Go figure. 🤷♀️
