10 Days of InterLink Series Day 3 The Token Listing Question in the @inter_link Roadmap I believe this is a topic many people are deeply concerned about. Personally, as a representative of the core team, I could only share this publicly after the holiday period. Today, I’m ready to address all questions that are constructive and contribution oriented on behalf of the core team. In the most recent whitepaper, it is stated that listing is planned between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. Naturally, many people are asking where we stand today. Is the team not ready to list yet? First, I want to clearly state that listing itself is not difficult, unlike what many people may think. We have already worked with Tier 1 exchanges, and from an execution standpoint, listing is not a challenge. However, it’s important to revisit the early stage of the project. Initially, @inter_link planned to list on an existing chain, such as Monad, or a major main chain like Ethereum or Solana. Over time, the project grew at an extremely fast and unexpected pace. To truly match the scale of what InterLink is becoming, the team made a strategic decision to build our own Layer 1, focused on AI infrastructure and payments, and to position the InterLink token as the native token of this blockchain, giving it real and strong utility. So what does this decision mean, and what are the trade offs? Building our own Layer 1 requires significantly more time, especially when integrating human nodes and HCS to verify ITLG. HCS is embedded directly into the Layer 1 through graph based algorithms, allowing us to accurately determine what is best for the project when distributing rewards to human nodes. This naturally takes more time compared to being an application dependent on another blockchain. The next question is: why not list right now? From a strategic perspective, it is entirely possible. However, if we were to list now, the entire verification process would need to be paused due to conflicts between chains. At that stage, when @inter_link is still operating on a private mainnet, most of the community would not be able to access their tokens at listing. The market would instead be dominated by market makers, VCs, and large holders. That is why the distribution process must be completed through the private mainnet first, followed by the open mainnet. This issue has already been identified and is being actively addressed, with all resources currently focused on version 5.0. Once the core distribution process is largely completed, the listing process will then begin. In summary, following the old path of becoming a token dependent on another network would allow earlier listing, but the intrinsic strength and utility of the token would be limited. Choosing to build a Layer 1 comes with higher infrastructure costs, greater resource requirements, and longer development and distribution timelines. However, this approach will be far more valuable once @inter_link officially launches as an open mainnet. It’s important to remember that the @inter_link core team also wants to list as early as possible. By design, the team holds a portion of token allocation under the tokenomics. However, if the process is not executed properly, much of the effort and value built so far could be destroyed. You can think of it like a tree. A tree that grows naturally with proper care will always be stronger than one that is forced to bear fruit too early. These are my honest and transparent thoughts regarding the listing question.
