@InnombrableGame I just finished the demo and came here to say amazing job guys, the art style really hook me into the game, and it definitely feels like a PS2 game. The ground combat is great and has potential, however the finishers are too slow to be useful, plus air combos are a bit stiff imo

@InnombrableGame I played it and liked it very much. I will be buying the full release. The only critic I have for the game at the moment is the falling speed, both when jumping and falling off cliff. You reach terminal velocity instantly.

@InnombrableGame The game's awesome! The only issue I really have is the air combat. It's stiff when you attack, feeling I'm stuck in the air trying to hit something. Would like it of you could move a little bit more while attacking there. Maybe take some notes from the Kindom Hearts series

#インディーゲーム #indiegame Ryn: And the thread of lifeのデモ版をプレイした。 表情を平面にしつつ、アニメーションで補間するのはとてもいいアイディアだと思うし、これから開発を進める上でもっと表情豊かにできるのでこのままで行って欲しい。所謂、体は3Dだが表情は2.5次元的な感じ。恐らく汎用身体モデルを使いまわしつつ、帽子や服装や武器等のアセットで個性を出していくスタンス。大変良き。 とはいえキャラデザにぶっちぎりの拘りを見せているので見ていて飽きない。敵ボスの見た目をじっくり見る機会が少ないが主人公のRynや強化役のKatの拘り具合はかなり洗練されている。このままVTuberになってもいいぐらい。 あとステージの雰囲気や敵の種類にも拘りを感じるし、丁度敵モンスターのグロさも個人的にはめっちゃ好き。モチーフにしているチェスの駒から動きを想定できるのも良い。 ここから明確な苦言だが、筆者はSwitch推奨のプロコンを使っているが「XYAB」の配置がそれぞれ逆なのである。これを設定で変える分には良いのだが「決定と戻る」のボタン変更はできないのと、一度だけあった「QTE」にて「Xが左に表示される（プロコンは上）」という事態が発生した。文化的差異の象徴だが、かなりゲームに慣れていないと、この違和感抜きでプレイできない。 次の苦言として、攻撃を食らってぶっ飛ばされた後の復帰時間がやたら長いのと、恐らくぶっ飛び以外で無敵時間が存在しないので、後半よりも最序盤の複数の超雑魚MOBに囲まれた時の方が危機感あった。 最後の苦言として、強攻撃のモーションがダメージ対隙の割合が全然釣り合っていないので途中で本当に使わなかった。恐らく強攻撃は攻撃判定直後に回避でキャンセル前提じゃないとまともに使えない。 Steamページでは「DEMO版が別のページとして分離していないタイプ」なので、Steamで言うところの「掲示板」でしか今は意見が書けない状態。ちょっと迷ったがこっちでも盛り上がりを見せるために、筆者はこっちに投稿することに。 個人的な感想だが、とても音楽とテーマの相性が良く、無理に広くしていないきちんと所定時間内に終わりそうなゲームとして大変期待しているので是非頑張り続けて頂きたい。 ↓Steamのページ↓ store.steampowered.com/app/4130370/Ry…
