MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE 2025 WINNERS The winners of the fourth edition of the prestigious Medal of Excellence Award competition were crowned at a colourful ceremony held over the weekend. The winners took home UGX 20,000,000 in cash prizes and the solid commitment of Innovation Consortium to assist them in bringing their ideas to life. The winners were; First Prize UGX 11,000,000 was won by Musiitwa Isaac (Ugandan), a 5th year architecture student from Kyambogo University for his "Thickened Panel folding structure" idea Second Prize UGX 5,500,000 was won by Monyroor Dau (South Sudanese), a student from the University of Juba for his "Return Tech Agency" idea that simplifies the collection and recovery of lost documents and items Third Prize UGX 3,500,000 was won by Walusimbi Joseph (Ugandan), an electronics engineer from the university of Soroti for his Smart Card based portable and transferrable power system. Hononary Mention was given to the Patron of this year's challenge, the Late Mrs. Mary Anthony Nvule Congratulations to all the winners, well wishers and all that attended or participated in this year's edition.
