@Coach4I This is a wonderful idea! Please keep sharing ideas! Due to the students in the programs I am working with don't have data/scores it's harder to measure the growth, as growth is made in smaller increments. #newcoachchat

A4: I'm hoping that by using an implementation continuum where teachers can determine where they are starting and ending can show impact. Showing student before and after scores on goal, works. It also helps to ask, "what was most helpful with our work together?" #newcoachchat

@Coach4I A2- I have some direction by administration, and I also ask the teachers what they see as next steps. My eyes and heart have opened up to our beautiful students in the Academy, reading and becoming engaged at calendar time. We've added elements of early literacy to calendar time.

@Coach4I A1- My situation is a little different because I have fewer teachers on my caseload, and it's ongoing. So many mini cycles.

Q1: How do you explain what a coaching cycle looks like to teachers? #newcoachchat

@Coach4I One teacher is implementing JR Guided Reading lessons with level C students. It was challenging when I was doing the modeled lesson because it's not a typical student setting.

A2: My coaching partner and I were just planning on how to offer experiences that value what they would like to focus on. We are planning on offering a choice board for whole-group reading. Thanks Jess, great conversation! #newcoachchat

@Coach4I I like the choice board or a BINGO board. In a reading from this week, I liked that the "prize" was giving teachers more time, something they never get. So maybe I can be a sub for a day as a prize? #newcoachchat

@Coach4I A2: I think feedback is so important. If after a cycle you are not debriefing, it is not giving the teacher an opportunity to be introduced to something they can make their own. #newcoachchat
