This is going to blow your mind, but in 2007 a game called Halo 3 was released and it featured something called the Ark. You could only get there from Earth. And the Forerunners made sure only their direct descendents could use it. And the Halo rings all had Library databanks.

@paloma_datgirl I think the idea is they can do spiritual healing, warming the body and moving chi. Remember that fire is life and passion, per Iroh and Fire Warriors. Also consider how Zuko was reacted after freeing Appa, likrey healing himself if only momentarily.

@aangdaily The problem with that explanation is that it makes the genocide far harder to believe.
If most Airbenders were spread around the globe, how were the Firebenders able to find and kill all of them without any escaping to one of the other nations? Why did only Aang survive?

People need to understand that the majority of airbenders don’t live in the temples, they’re nomads, so they’re constantly traveling and moving around. The temples act more like retirement homes & daycares for airbenders

@nerdgenix @vidsthatgohard I liked it as an act of fate. Ozai forced himself to lose bending, instead of accepting he was wrong and surrendering to Aang. It was his own attack that caused this.

The whole point of Koichi is that he's a normal guy who had a Quirk with super powerful potential and that anyone like Koichi can, overnight, become Superman and unlock a huge power.
All For One kept that in mind, and that's why he started developing the Nomu: creating beings, exploiting their Quirks, similar to Six and Koichi, and creating an army capable of surpassing any random with huge potential like Koichi.
If All For One can't prevent a Superman from being born, then he will create a Superman he can use as a weapon.
So the Nomu exist because of, and thanks to, Koichi and Six.
