Michael Jackson film is a 'whitewash' and 'ghoulish', critics say bbc.in/3OhQBpX

Michael Jackson impersonator Fabio Jackson walks the red carpet at the AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards, where he also met Jaafar Jackson

I don’t know what disgusts me more: that filthy, sensationalist outlet that, for years, did everything it could to tarnish Michael Jackson’s image or this disgraceful family, whom Michael loved and trusted for so many years. The same people who are now “accusing” Michael defended him for years. It was only after he passed away that, along with cowardice and mounting debts, accusations with no coherent narrative began to appear. One of the most repulsive members of that family, Frank Cascio, defended Michael in 2005, when he was already an ADULT, denying any abuse. In 2011, he released the book My Friend Michael, in which he once again publicly defended him. In addition, one of the brothers was involved in the so-called “Cascio tracks,” songs released on the posthumous album Michael, which years later we discovered were fake songs. All for money. Frank, for those who don’t know, is drowning in debt. Involved with dangerous people, gambling houses, and prostitutes… This family brothers and parents alike are morally corrupt individuals who will do anything for money. They even tried to auction off one of MJ’s underwear! For years, there have been records, interviews, photos, and statements showing this family happy by Michael Jackson’s side. For years, there were only praises, gratitude, and public defense. Now they try to erase their own past. But the facts are there. For anyone who still hasn’t realized it, this family lived in Michael’s shadow for years, benefiting from the relationship, the proximity, and everything he represented. And to this day, they try to remain attached to his name. And what do they present to support this new version of events? Nothing but their own contradiction. They defended Michael their entire lives, denied any abuse when they were already adults, wrote books reaffirming that defense and now they come forward with the opposite narrative. So now, who will really be the victim in this whole story?
